Submission of abstracts and registration for the SIBECOL/AIL 2022 meeting indicates your consent for the abstract to be available within the meeting literature (electronic and in print). Also consent is given for pictures or sound recorded during meeting to be available on the meeting website.
By participating in the SIBECOL/AIL 2022 you are also acknowledging the meeting guidelines specified for presenters and moderators as well the code of conduct of the meeting that will be available in the meeting website.
The organizing committee of the SIBECOL/AIL 2022 meeting will ensure that your privacy is protected according to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), EU Regulation nº 2016/679, of the 27th of April 2016. Should you be asked to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then it will be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Via nominations (e.g., for awards) by colleagues
2.1 Personal data

2.2 Purpose of Processing of personal data
the organizing committee shall use the personal data received from data subjects solely for the following purposes:
To manage your abstract submission, review, and selection or rejection
To manage meeting registration, workshop registration and access to services related to the meeting registration
To periodically inform on the meeting program, to communicate with data subjects about the scientific programme and the scheduling of presentations.
For internal record keeping and to improve services (e.g. catering, child care, social activities during the meeting)
For recording participation, surveys and analysing trends- with personal data processed in an anonymized way
To manage your nomination and review your qualifications along the list of criteria that apply to the awards
To communicate with the award recipients about the outcome and follow-up actions
2.3 Entity responsible for data processing and confidentiality
The entity responsible for data collection and processing is the organizing committee of the AIL/SIBECOL_22. Collected data shall be used in accordance with the purposes determined at the time of collection or for the compliance of legal obligations. Collected data shall be processed in a confidential manner and can be accessed by a restricted number of workers/collaborators of the organizing committee of the SIBECOL/AIL 2022 meeting within the limits applicable. When personal data is processed for purposes other than those for which they were initially collected, explicit consent for that further processing shall be requested in accordance with the legislation in force. The organizing committee of the SIBECOL/AIL 2022 meeting will not sell, rent, distribute, or otherwise make participant’s personal data commercially available to third parties.
